Unlike the typical stereo noise canceling earphones our earphones are mono. The reason for this is that stereo is very noisy and instead of different signals going to different sides of the head, mono allows the same signal to go to both sides. Another difference is that you can still hear whats going on around you. If all the noise is canceled out this would be very dangerous.
