These 4 mics were taken into the loudest Wind Noise-testing
environment available.

With the wind speed and the ground level air density of the Wind Tunnel Skydiving Simulator, this was the perfect place to put these mics to the test.

The Military Mic was the closest to the clarity experienced with the high gain RD-1 mic. While the RD-2 mic was better than the Indy Car Mic it lacked as much clarity as the RD-1 mic.

All of the mics tested are considered best in their field of expertise and work well in their specific environment but for the best and fortunately most affordable noise reduction quality in loud wind noise situations the RD-1 mic proved to be the ideal product.
